Poem Generator

Over the last few months I've been developing an artificially intelligent poem generator. So far it can write free verse, haiku, rhyming couplets, sonnets, limericks and acrostics.

The results are not always entirely sensible, but that does make them somewhat amusing.

It's pretty cool... here's my basic one. It's about a bed cause that's where I currently am 😂

The Soft And Big Bed

A Poem by C. L. Abrams

Whose bed is that? I think I know.

Its owner is quite sad though.

It really is a tale of woe,

I watch her frown. I cry hello.

She gives her bed a shake,

And sobs until the tears make.

The only other sound's the break,

Of distant waves and birds awake.

The bed is soft, big and deep,

But she has promises to keep,

Until then she shall not sleep.

She lies in bed with ducts that weep.

She rises from her bitter bed,

With thoughts of sadness in her head,

She idolises being dead.

Facing the day with never ending dread.

I like it.

My quick poem generator seems to be the most popular, but it gives the most repetitive results. I sometimes think I've made the others more complex than they need to be.
