Links Don't Work Correctly!

Daniel Ormont on 24.01.2017 16:28

I am a new author here. When I edit my profile, the bottom of the form says "Edit", not "Save" or "OK". I take this on faith and click "Edit", but when I search my name, the author profile is missing. Also, when clicking "Edit", there is a direct link to my profile. However, the link takes to suggested reads, or such. I hope someone is still managing this site!

Yes, there is definitely somebody managing this site.

'Edit' sometimes displays because the same form is used whether changes are made or not.

I will look into the other issues. It may take a few days, I'm afraid, as I have other work booked in.

I’ve learnt how to write a drabble.

I’ve learnt how to submit a drabble.

I’ve even had a few drabbles published.

But what I cannot discover is how to link the published drabbles with my books on Amazon.

Have refreshed the Amazon author page hyperlink on my Hippo author profile a few times, and even copied the Amazon hyperlink from the Hippo author profile and pasted it onto a blank document to test it - and it works.

So what am I doing wrong?

PS Hopefully the info will help others avoid my mistakes.

Thank you for reporting this.

I've put looking into it on my 'to do' list. Sorry that I can't reply right away.

Thank you, but I suspect that it is me who has jammed a spanner in your works.

Possibly not. There are a few bugs I need to fix.

I hope you haven't caught a bug off of me.
