I spent every minute outside the classroom traipsing all over the UK. Loved it. Every native I met was so friendly and kind. Golly, I miss those Cornish pasties. Mills and Boon published a couple of my romance novels early in my career and I was astonished to find a few still on shelves in small libraries in out-of-the-way villages.
